After my success in the 2025 Student Summer Internship, I was rehired at MMSD as a Limited Time Employee (LTE) during Summer of 2026, continuing my work from the previous year at a much more rigorous and consistent pace. During this LTE period, I constantly stayed on my feet to find stories in the district and create multiple pieces of weekly multi-media content, covering topics ranging from unique summer programming to Building Service updates to exceptional staff members.

I worked as an intern for the MMSD Communicagtions Department, hired as part of the new MMSD Student Summer Internship program. In my time with the department, I learned numerous foundational aspects of educational media and marketing, from studying analytics, to creating video stories for multiple platforms, crafting written stories in AP Style, shooting and assembling high quality photo galleries for social media, to producing press releases to pitch to official news outlets.
